“The ballot is stronger than the bullet”

Exercised my right as a Malaysian to go out voting on polling day for the 15th General Election. I must say that as a first time voter, I can feel that the future of our country is in the ballot box, and it is something that should be taken seriously. 


Some of us are tired of politics and politicians; some of us feel “my one vote” is not going to make a difference; some of us feel it does not matter who rules as “my life will be same” and the poor will continue to suffer.


But this is not so.


Every policy or programme that a government makes, every new law that it promulgates, has some effect on citizens.

The last federal election in Malaysia, known as the 15th General Election (GE15)
